Subhash Chowk is one of the most popular and centrally located landmarks in Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh. 4 km. from Sagrika Resort Dalhousie. Sardar Ajit Singh, a great freedom fighter, breathed his last on the day India gained independence, 15th August 1947. His 'Samadhi' is located at Dalhousie's Panjpulla, a picturesque spot with a natural tank and water flowing under small bridges from which the place takes its name. At Panjpulla, there is a 'Samarak' in the memory of Sardar Ajit Singh. On the way to Panchpulla is Satdhara Springs, gurgling with refreshing water, believed to contain some medicinal properties. The Panchpulla stream is the primary source of water supply to Dalhousie and Baloon.

Less than 1 km. from Sagrika Resort Dalhousie. St Francis Church is a catholic church built during the Colonial rule in India in 1894. Greeting visitors with tall Deodar trees, it is a renowned church in Dalhousie. The Church is located at Subhash Chowk and accessed on foot from the road. It is one of the prominent monuments in Dalhousie. The structure of the Church is visible from Subhash Chowk. You can easily visit this Church at Subhash Chowk after check-in at Sagrika Resort on foot at any suitable time. A beautiful view of the surrounding hills increases the beauty of this place.

Less than 3 km. from Sagrika Resort Dalhousie, located at Gandhi Chowk in Dalhousie, St. John's Church is the first Church built in Dalhousie in the year 1863. There are some beautiful dramatic glass paintings to explore. The Church, having serene surroundings, houses a library with a good collection of old books and photographs. One who is interested in exploring the history and culture of Dalhousie can pay a visit here. One can easily reach the Gandhi Chowk from Subhash Chowk on foot as the distance between the two places is 1 km. to 2 km.

5 km. from Sagrika Resort Dalhousie on the way from Sagrika Resort to Khajjiar ( Mini Switzerland of India ). The charming and mystical Bakrota Hills offer the tourists a brisk walk around the hills and command a grand view of the snow-clad peaks of the distant Pir Panjal mountain range. The beautiful play of sunshine through towering Deodar Cedar Trees as you move through Bakrota Hills is a breathtaking and unforgettable event. Bakrota Hills offer memorable moments and bewitching sunshine during Summer, fog-filled refreshing winds and a mystical feel during Monsoon, clear blue skies during Autumn, and snow-covered wooded slopes during Winter, a perfect playground to enjoy memorable winter moments in snow-covered hills.

10 km. from Sagrika Resort Dalhousie. The spot commands a beautiful and grand panoramic view of the surrounding landscape and eye travels wide over hill and dale, field and forest, smooth and ruggedness, till in the direction of Jammu and Kashmir, it meets a horizon of snow peaks. Kalatop in Chambiali dialect means a 'black cap'. A beautiful Forest Rest House with a chowkidar residence stands amidst the thick forest. The place comes under a Wild life sanctuary known as Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary.

11 km. from Sagrika Resort Dalhousie. Jai Pohlani Mata Temple is a Hindu temple built for the local deity Pohlani Mata. It is located near Kalatop Rest House. A small trek leads to the temple on the top of a high altitude hill in Kalatop area. The trek is easy. The top point of the hill provides panoramic view of the distant Pir Panjal mountain range. It is better to visit the temple before Winter snowfall as the footpath that leads to the temple gets closed due to heavy snowfall on top of the hill.

22 Kms from Sagrika Resort Dalhousie, referred as the Mini Switzerland of India, is one of the finest Saucer shaped meadows lined by tall Deodar trees and a Lake in the middle with over an 500 years old Wooden Nag Temple near to the Lake. Khajjiar has the thick forest of the Kalatop Khajjiar wildlife sanctuary surrounding its soft green grass. The moment, one enters the picturesque Khajjiar, is welcomed by a yellow Swiss sign for ‘hiking path’ which reads “Mini Switzerland”.

40 km from Sagrika Resort Dalhousie and on the way to Chamba, Bhalei Mata Temple is located on a high hill and commands a panoramic view of surrounding areas, especially of the vast water reserve Chamera Lake. Bhalei Mata Temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Bhadra. It is around 3800 feet above mean sea level and is located in the Bhalei sub-tehsil. The temple is one of the prime attractions of Chamba Valley and hosts a large number of pilgrims from near and far, especially during the Navratras period.

36 Kms is from Sagrika Resort Dalhousie and on the way to Chamba. It is the reservoir of the Chamera dam built over the river Ravi. Chamera lake is an artificial lake came into existence as a consequence of Chamera Hydroelectric project. The Dam site enjoy very sharp fluctuations in climate between April to June. During the daytime, it can get hot (around 35 degree centigrade), though by the evening, temperatures fall to between 18 to 20 degree centigrade.

60 km. from Sagrika Resort Dalhousie, the erstwhile capital of the famous state of Chamba is a worth visiting place for tourists. Sach Pass connects Chamba Valley to the Pangi Valley. The route from Sagrika Resort is Sagrika Resort - Banikhet - Chamba - Bhanjraru ( Tissa ) - Bairagarh - Satrundi - Sach Pass.
